2020 marks the 6th year that Team Limb-it-less will cross the finish line on Boylston Street raising funds to help amputees obtain prosthetic devices. Being a member of Boston’s Team Limb-it-less is an incredible honor. Our 2020 team was selected amongst dozens of applicants and each has a special reason for running for HAF. The funds that our team raise allow us to provide grants for prosthetic devices that victims of traumatic circumstances are otherwise unable to afford. In addition to helping many others, 2019’s team assisted in donations of an above the knee prothesis including a microprocessor knee to 33 year old Leslie, of Edgefield, SC, an arm prosthesis to 6 year old Thompson of Mobile, AL and a water proof prosthesis to 53 year old James of Hampton, NH. Funds raised also contributed to scholarships to Camp No Limits through HAF’s Krystle Kid’s Fund, including 8 year old Jordan. Please join us this year on 2020 Boston Marathon Weekend where you’ll meet HAF’s 2020 team and see them cross the Boston Marathon finish line!
