In 2005, Juan was involved in a motorcycle accident and lost his left leg below the knee. Juan had been wearing an ill-fitting socket and old liners, making things very uncomfortable for him.

We partnered with Greenville Orthotics and Prosthetics to provide Juan with both a new socket and liners. Having a proper fitting socket ensures that Juan will be able to continue his duties within the church and provide for his family. Juan advocates for other amputee patients in the community by offering encouragement and a listening ear.
