The amputation of Kristin’s right leg below the knee resulted from a motor vehicle accident in 2008. Not only were Kristin and her daughter critically injured, but her son was injured so severely that he became paralyzed from the waist down. This wife and mom of two wanted a high tech, slim, vacuum model prosthesis in order to regain her former activity level and get back to work.
