July brings exciting news from HAF as we celebrate a new group of beneficiaries who have received life-changing prosthetic donations. This month, ten individuals - Abigail, Angelica, Janet, Jason, Kyle, Milissa, Patrick, Jorge, Mauricio, and Shane - were supported through our partnership with Levitate. Additionally, we welcome David, Matt, Nico, and Gabby who have received prosthetic donations in partnership with NovaCare, A Step Ahead, and Anew Life Prosthetics. These life-changing gifts will empower our beneficiaries to regain their mobility and independence. To support our work, please consider making a donation to the Heather Abbott Foundation. On April 1st, The Heather Abbott Foundation is rallying our amazing community of supporters for 401Gives - Rhode Island's annual day of giving. 401Gives brings together nonprofits across the state for 24 hours of unified fundraising power. We are thrilled to announce that the Heather Abbott Foundation is returning as an official charity for the 2024 Boston Marathon! The Heather Abbott Foundation provides customized prostheses to individuals who have lost limbs due to traumatic circumstances. As an official charity, we are recruiting runners to join Team Limb-it-less and run the 2024 Boston Marathon on our behalf. Joining Team Limb-it-less is a great way to support the Heather Abbott Foundation's mission while taking on the challenge of running one of the world's most prestigious marathons.
